The YWCA Hamilton in Partnership with McMaster University, the City of Hamilton, LeafBox Concepts and St. Matthews House are pleased to announce the launch of Business out of the Box (BoTB) – a pilot project funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

Housed in a repurposed shipping container situated in the heart of Barton Village (414 Barton St. East), BoTB will provide fourteen local women the opportunity to develop their respective small retail businesses through a collaborative model they have named the Women’s Entrepreneur Collective.

SuburbZen (mindfulness practice goods)

Kyra Clothing (scarves imported from India)

Suoss Pure Moroccan Oil (organic pricklypear seed oil)

Free Bird (up-cycled makeup bags)

Bone & Rust (unique jewellery bone/silver/gems)

LizzieLou Mixed Media (artist / canvas mixed media)

Penumbra Glass Works (stained glass art work)
